TESTIMONALS

When I made a significant life choice to shift my career from a practitioner psychologist to an academic role, I identified research publication as an important step in my new career but it was one that I had very little experience in. I sought out Sharon as a research mentor to guide my first steps towards publication as she stands out as someone who can find a way through. I value her professional, straightforward and motivational approach and her generosity in sharing her considerable knowledge and expertise. She took the time to understand my key strengths and skills and research interests so that we could collaboratively form both a short-term and long-term research strategy. And the proof really is in the pudding as I have just had my first research article approved for publication in a peer reviewed journal which has been a huge confidence boost!

Counselling Psychologist, London

Sharon mentored me when I was facing a particularly challenging working enviroment, Her support and wisdom was invaluable: she has a flexible and responsive approach and extensive experience, and she enabled me to reframe my experience so that I could more effectively manage my situation. Her attitude is positive, motivating, and very 'people-centred', and I greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with her.

It was a pleasure to share coaching conversations with Sharon.
We identified clear goals, exploring the intersection between the personal and professional and how this may impact progress. The conversations were reflective yet productive, with a clear focus and momentum for achieving my goals.

‘Sharon coached me when I was in a hard and troubling time of doubt about my career

but with her support and knowledge, I have been able to understand that it’s ok to not know your path and that we are not alone in the process.

I learnt a bit more about myself. Sharon really pushes you in every way and to have her belief, trust and extensive experience to broaden my perspective and ability to overtake my obstacles. She took the time and effort to understand me personally to create the best strategy for me in the future. I’m forever thankful to her. ‘

Working with Sharon has helped me focus on performance development in a way that working alone never would. There was an incredibly helpful mix of challenge, support and curiosity which helped both at the time and subsequently. Sharon’s support gave a framework to think about work, about effectiveness and about impact. This then was amplified by the challenge and openness of the conversation.
